Can my kids camp with a tent on our RV site?
Yes. Most of our sites either have an adjacent tent site or room on the RV site for a tent. Call in to make your reservation, and the staff will help you book exactly what you need!
What happens if the weather is bad?
We operate in all weather types, but if the forecast looks too daunting for you, call in and let the staff know, and we will help you reschedule or cancel based on our policy.
What is your cancellation policy?
Full refund up to 8 days before your stay. If you are inside the 8-day window, we will issue you a credit certificate that is good for two years.
Do you have river access?
No, the entire Upper Current River is inside the National Park. We are 2.5 miles away from Current River, but we do have a swimming pool!
Yes! We do ask that your pets remain leashed and under control at all times.
Can I bring my dog?
Can I book my float through you?
Unfortunately not, however we do work with floating outfitters in the area and can recommend one based on the float you have in mind!
Do I have to have a reservation?
Walk in sites are limited, we always recommend a reservation, particularly during peak season.
What time are check in/check out?
Check-in is at 3 PM; early check-in arrangements can be made for a fee. Check-out is at 11 AM. This applies to both camping and cabins.

At Upper Current Hideaway, we strive to ensure every guest gets what they’re looking for out of their visit.
RV Sites
We offer RV sites with 30-amp hookups, 50-amp hook- ups, electric water, and some sites have sewer hook-ups. We also have a dump station.
Choose a site with or without electricity, a small site for solo outings or quiet family trips, or a large group site for social gatherings! We have something for everyone!
Tent Sites
If you'd rather stay in the air conditioning and sleep on a mattress, we have something for you too! We have one small cabin and one larger cabin. Call us to see which one suits your group best!
Cabins
We also offer a quiet, super quiet, and “noisy” area called Happy Hollow to ensure everyone has a positive camping experience.
